San Marino 5 Euro 2019 Zodiac Leo

In 2019 San Marino issued no less than four 5 Euro coins dedicated to the constellations. In the year 2018 this series of 5 Euro coins, with the theme Zodiac, was started. The zodiac can be seen on the celestial sphere and there are 12 different constellations. The third coin from this series has the theme 'Leo'. The sun is in this zodiac sign from July 23 to August 22. The Lion is shown on the face of the coin with the word Leo above. At the top of the coin is the year 2019 and at the bottom of the coin the value indication of 5 Euro is shown. In the outer circle of the coin the zodiac sign of Leo is repeated 10 times. The reverse of this series of bronze coins is the same. In the centre the sun is depicted with the three leaves of the Republic of San Marino. Around the sun are the 12 phases of the moon. The country name 'Repubblica di San Marino' (Republic of San Marino) encircles these 12 phases. The 12 different Zodiac signs are shown in the outer ring of the coin.
