San Marino 5 Euro 2020 Zodiac Sagittarius

In 2020, San Marino issued no less than three 5 Euro coins dedicated to the constellations. San Marino started in 2018 with this series of 5 Euro coins which have the theme of the Zodiac. The zodiac is shown on the celestial sphere and there are a total of 12 different Constellations. The seventh coin of this series has the theme of Sagittarius. The sun is in this constellation from 22nd November to 21st December. On the face of the coin Sagittarius, the Archer, is depicted. Above and to the right of the archer is the name Sagittarius. At the top of the coin is the year 2020 and at the bottom of the coin is the value indication of 5 Euro. In the outer circle of the coin the zodiac sign of Sagittarius is repeated 10 times. The reverse of this series of bronze coins is always the same. In the centre is the sun together with the three leaves of the Republic of San Marino. The 12 phases of the moon are shown around the sun. Encircling these moon phases is the country name 'Repubblica di San Marino' (Republic of San Marino). In the outer ring of the coin are the 12 different zodiac signs.
