San Marino 5 Euro 2021 'Aquarius'

In 2021 San Marino has issued three 5 Euro coins that represent the constellations. San Marino started in the year 2018 with this series of €5 coins which have the theme 'The Zodiac'. The zodiac is seen on the celestial sphere and there are a total of 12 different Constellations. The twelfth and last coin in this series has the theme 'Aquarius' which is the astrological sign of people born between 21st January and 18th February. The water carrier is depicted on the face of the coin to the left of which is the word 'Aquarius'. At the top of the coin is the year 2021 and at the bottom of the coin is the value indication of 5 Euro. In the outer circle of the coin the zodiac sign of Aquarius is shown 10 times. The reverse of this series of bronze coins is always the same - in the centre is the sun with the three leaves of the Republic of San Marino, encircled by the 12 phases of the moon. Around these moon phases is the country name 'Repubblica di San Marino' (Republic of San Marino). In the outer ring of the coin are the 12 different Zodiac signs.
