San Marino BU 2019

The theme of the 2019 San Marino BU set relates to the second tower of San Marino which stands on the mountain called Monte Titano, at an altitude of 756 metres. The fifteenth-century tower is pentagonal and is built on the ruins of the original Roman watchtower. Nowadays the tower is called Cesta / Fratta. This medieval fort was rebuilt between 1925 and 1935 with stands, walkways, corridors and a guardhouse. Nowadays it is the home of the museum of historical weapons. The tower is also displayed on the San Marino 1 Euro coin. In this 2019 BU set of San Marino the complete series of Euro coins from San Marino 2019 is included, i.e. from the 1 cent 2019 up to and including the normal 2 Euro 2019.
