The aim is to increase the importance of tree heritage, the protection of which is essential for the survival of our planet. The leaves on this coin represent glory (bay leaf), power (oak leaf) and peace (olive leaf). The tree on the front of the BU set of San Marino 2019 takes the form of two crossed hands whose fingers are tilted upwards, a symbol of the necessary support of humans for the forests.
