San Marino BU 2021 + 5 Euro. The theme of the BU set of San Marino 2021 & 5 Euro is 'International Day of Biodiversity'. Biodiversity includes all animal and plant species that exist and live on the Earth. There are currently about 2 million known species of which many new species are being discovered every day. The great unknown are mainly found deep in the oceans. Nevertheless, many plant and animal species are endangered, which is why, every year on 22nd May, the International Day of Biodiversity is celebrated. The BU set of San Marino 2021 & 5 Euro contains the complete series of Euro coins from San Marino 2021, i.e. the 1 cent up to and including the normal 2 Euro 2021 with an extra silver 5 Euro coin, which has the theme 'International Day of Biodiversity'. On the face of the coin are three towers that represent the essence of the water and on the reverse are - a human hand, a leaf, a bear claw, a shark fin and an eagle's wing holding each other, with the earth in the centre.
