The 2020 Summer Olympic Games will be held in Tokyo, Japan. Slovakia are sending fourteen athletes to Tokyo, so it has been decided to publish a BU set about this. Slovakia participated for the first time in the Olympic Games (Winter Games) in 1994. In 1996 they participated for the first time in the Olympic Games (Summer Games). In total, Slovakia won 28 medals during the last six summer games. During the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro, Slovakia won 2 gold and 2 silver medals.
