Slovakia BU 2022 'Spissky Hrad Castle'

Slovakia BU set 2022 'Spissky Hrad'. Spissky Hrad is a castle ruin that is located in the village of Zehra. The castle was built in the twelfth century, on the site where there was previously a Slavic castle. The castle was enlarged several times and received its final form in the 16th century. In 1945 the ruin was appropriated by the Czechoslovak State and nowadays the castle is only used for tourism. The castle attracts more than 200,000 visitors every year! In this 2022 BU Set of Slovakia 'Spissky Hrad' all 8 euro coins (from the 1 cent up to and including the 2 euro) are packed and as an extra there is a commemorative medal included in the set.
