Slovenia 2 Euro 2019 Ljubljana University

The University of Ljubljana (Univerza V Ljubljani) is the highest rated University of Slovenia, it is also the oldest Slovenian University. The University of Ljubljana has no fewer than 22 faculties and several art academies. It is a large university with around 65,000 students. As 15% of the inhabitants of Ljubljana are students, Ljubljana can truly be called a student city. The University of Ljubljana was founded 100 years ago, in 1919, and to commemorate this Slovenia has decided to issue a 2 Euro coin. A square, which is the logo of the university appears on the front of the coin. The texts '100 LET' (100 years) and 'UNIVERZE V LJUBLJANI' (University of Ljubljana) are shown above the square. At the bottom right is the country name SLOVENIJA (Slovenia) together with the year of issue, 2019. The coin is packed in a printed coin holder.
