2022 Slovenia 3 Euro coin 'Matija Jama'. Matija Jama was a Slovenian painter who was born in Laibach, in the year 1872. Matija Jama first studied law in Zagreb but followed his heart and dropped out. He left for Munich where he studied at Simon Hollosy's painting school. He then studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, also in Munich, to further develop his skills but again he stopped halfway through the training and did not complete it either. He is, to this day, one of the most famous painters of Slovenia and his art can be admired worldwide. His style of painting is depicted on both the obverse and reverse of the coin. Furthermore, his name and year of birth are displayed on the face of the coin. On the reverse of the coin is his signature, the value indication of 3 Euro, the country name SLOVENIJA and the year of issue, 2022. The coin is packed in a printed coin holder.
