Spain 1.5 Euro 2019 Ships Part 1

In order to popularize and distribute numismatic collecting the Spanish mint has issued a series of coins in commemorating the history of navigation (Historia de la Navegación). This collection represents a selection of ships that have, for some reason, been important over time. The collection consists of a total of 20 different coins beautifully displaying coloured ships, each coin with a nominal value of €1.50. When ordering this first set of the series a free collection book that can hold all 20 coins will be included with the order! The coins are issued in blocks of four each showing a different ship! In total there are 5 issues of four coins which will complete the collection book. The issues are spread over 2018, 2019 and 2020. On the face of the coins ships that have braved the seas are depicted. Because these coins are beautifully coloured the ships really come to life. The name of the ship is also shown on the coin. On the reverse of the coin is the text 'Historia de la Navegacion' together with the value indication of € 1.50 in a circle. Six dolphins are displayed around this circle.
