Spain 10 Euro 2021 'Emilia Pardo Bazan'

Spain has issued a 10 Euro coin with the theme 'Emilia Pardo Bazan'. Emilia Pardo Bazan was a Spanish countess best known for her literary works. She mainly represented naturalism in Spain and was instrumental in women's rights and feminism. Its main goal was 'Education for girls and women'. Women's Day is celebrated every year on 8th March and equality is paramount. Emilia Pardo Bazan died 100 years ago which is why Spain has issued this special 10 Euro coin. The face of the coin features an image of Emilia Pardo Bazan. Furthermore, the symbol of women's day is shown along with the value indication of 10 Euro. On the reverse of the coin is an image of King Felipe VI and the year of issue, 2021. The coin is presented in a beautiful case and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
