Spain 10 Euro 2022 'Clara Campoamor'. Clara Campoamor was a Spanish politician, advocate and writer and is regarded by many as the mother of the Feminist Movement in Spain. Clara Campoamor fought for equality, freedom, progress and women's suffrage. She was elected to the Constituent Assembly in 1931, at a time when women were not even allowed to vote in Spain! In 1936 she fled the country during the Spanish Civil War and never returned to Spain. Her main plea, given in the Pelota court (Urumea) in 1931, is shown on the face of the coin. Furthermore, the text DIA INTERNACIONAL DE LA MUJER (International Women's Day) and her name, Clara Campoamor, are displayed. The reverse of the coin shows an image of King Felipe VI looking to the left. The year of issue, 2022, is also shown. The coin is presented in a beautiful cassette and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
