Spain 30 euro 2018 Felipe 50 Years

This is a special 30 Euro coin from Spain 2018. The theme of this coin is the 50th birthday of King Felipe VI. King Felipe VI has been King of Spain since 19 June 2014. He was born on January 30, 1968. In the year 2018 King Felipe reaches 50 years of age and to celebrate this Spain has issued this special 30 Euro coin. The special feature of this coin is that the coat of arms of the King is coloured. It is the first time that Spain has issued a coloured 30 Euro coin. On the face of the coin the coloured Coat of Arms of King Felipe is depicted. This coat of arms consists of six parts. On the left is the Castle of Castile, the Lion of Leon is also shown. Below left are the yellow and red stripes of Aragona along with the chains of Navarre. At the bottom of the coat of arms is a pomegranate flower and in the centre of the coat of arms are three lilies. The coat of arms is surrounded by the Royal chain and is surmounted by the Royal Crown of Spain. On the left side of the coin is the value indication of 30 Euro. At the bottom of the coin is the text "50 Aniversario de S.M. El Rey" (50th birthday of the King). On the reverse of the coin King Felipe VI is portrayed looking to the left. At the top of the coin in a circle is the text æFELIPE VI REY DE ESPAÑAÆ (Felipe VI King of Spain). At the bottom of the coin the year 2018 is shown.
