Vatican 20 and 50 Euro 2017 Gold

These are the 2017 Vatican 20 Euro and 50 Euro coins. These coins are the last coins of a trilogy that began in 2014. On the 2017 coins the Basilica of Padua is the theme. On the face of 20 Euro coin a man is depicted holding the child Jesus. The man has a lily in his hand. The lily is the symbol of purity fighting against evil. On the left side of the coin is the value of 20 Euro. At the bottom of the coin the country name æCitta del VaticanoÆ is shown. The 50 Euro coin is a beautiful coin on the face of which the æBasilica of PaduaÆ is represented. This Basilica is almost 900 years old and is an imposing Roman building. As for the reverse of these coins, the papal coat of arms is shown. The year 2017 (MMXVII) is also shown in Latin. Nobody will use these coins as currency but they are legal tender!!
