Vatican 20 Euro 2022 'Saint Basilica Dome'. The Vatican has issued a 20 Euro coin depicting the Dome of Saint Peter's Basilica. Many important architects and artists have spent nearly a century designing and building the Dome. Donato Bramante, Raffaello Sanzio and Michelangelo Buonarroti, among others, were allowed to work on this beautiful building! The construction of this immense Dome started in the year 1500 and took almost 100 years to complete! On the face of the coin is an image of this Dome. Furthermore, the year of issue, 2022, and the value indication of 20 Euro are displayed. The reverse of the coin features the Vatican coat of arms with the text 'MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO' (chosen by grace) below. The coin is supplied in the accompanying official Cassette.
