Vatican 5 Euro 2021 'Peter and Paul'. Peter and Paul are two apostles. Peter literally means 'Rock'. Jesus tells that he is building a church on his rock, because of this Peter is seen as the main apostle and as the first pope. Paul was actually called Saul and is seen as the Apostle of the Gentiles. Paul cursed the church in his past because he was raised as a Jew. He was converted at a later age only after a vision. He left for the Roman Empire where he founded a large number of congregations. Finally, Paul was beheaded and buried in Rome. On the face of the coin is an image of Peter and Paul with a halo above their heads. Furthermore, the country name CITTA DEL VATICANO (Vatican) and the value indication of 5 Euro are shown.
