Vatican 5 Euro and 10 Euro 2019 Silver Proof

Each year Vatican City issues a 5 Euro coin and a 10 Euro coin. The 2019 Vatican 5 Euro is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the 'Circolo di San Pietro', founded in 1869 by a group of young Noble Roman families led by Cardinal Lacobini. The Circolo di San Pietro works for the poorest people in society and takes care of its loved ones. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Circolo di San Pietro, it was decided to issue a 5 Euro coin. The Vatican 10 Euro coin is also dedicated to helping the poor. Those who have been given the mandate to protect and rule must protect the poor. On the face of the Vatican 5 Euro coin three Angels are depicted helping a beggar. The value indication of 5 Euro is shown at the top right. At the bottom of the coin is the country name 'Citta del Vaticano' (Vatican City). On the 10 Euro coin a man is shown washing a person's feet. Washing feet is a symbolic gesture for the care that people take for the poor. The country name 'Citta del Vaticano' (Vatican City) is also displayed together with the value indication of 10 Euro. On the reverse of both coins is an image of the Papal coat of arms of the current Pope Francis. Both coins, in the quality Proof, are presented in a luxury package and are delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
