Product Description
The Vatican has issued a series of four Coincards with postage stamps in 2017. In 2011 the first Coincard + stamp was issued by the Vatican. This was obviously Number 1. The Coincards of 2017 have the numbers 14, 15, 16 and 17. In each Coincard the 2017 Vatican 50 Cent coin is mounted. On this legal tender coin the Papal coat of arms is depicted. In coincard number 14 a Vatican stamp of 95 Eurocent is packed, in coincard number 15 is a €1 stamp. Packaged in coincard number 16 is a stamp to the value €2.30 and in coincard number 17 a stamp with a value of €3.00 is packaged. On each stamp is a different image of Pope Francis. It is notable that Pope Francis no longer wants his image to be used on the Vatican Euro coins, but that his image appears on the stamps of the Vatican! Each Coincard has a different colour, number 14 is light red, 15 is dark red, 16 is green and number 17 is purple.
