Estonia 2 Euro 2022 'Estonian Literature Society'. In the year 1872 important Estonian writers, poets, journalists and artists including Hugo Treffner, Carl Robert Jakobson and Jakob Hurt came together. The purpose of these people was to enrich Estonian literature and language. The Estonian Literature Society built its own library and organized many lectures. During the Russification, Estonia was further divided and the Estonian Literature Society was closed in 1893. It has been 150 years since the Estonian Literature Society was founded, which is why Estonia has issued a commemorative 2 Euro coin.
