Finland 5 Euro 2018 Oulankajoki River Proof

This is the seventh coin from the series of nine Finnish Bimetals 5 Euro coins that will be issued in the year 2018 which have the theme of the Finnish National Landscapes. The subject of this seventh coin is the National Park "Oulankajoki" with its special river. Oulankajoki is located in the northeast of Finland near the border of Russia. Originally it was inhabited by the Saami. Important cities near the park are Kuusamo and Salla. On the face of the coin is a representation of an aerial photograph of the Oulankajoki park with its winding river. The reverse of this series of coins is the same. The map of Finland is shown with a dot indicating the location of the subject, in this case OulankajokiÆ which is at the top right of the map. On the left of the map of Finland is the value indication of 5 Euro. In the outer ring of the coin is the year 2018 together with the country name Suomi (= Finnish) and Finland (= Swedish).
