Germany 20 Euro 2019 100 Years Bauhaus

Germany has issued a 20 Euro coin in honour of the 100 year anniversary of 'Bauhaus'. Bauhaus is an art and design school that still provides many innovative creations today. Bauhaus has always attracted many famous artists from all over the world. These famous artists have also taught here, some for a short period, others for a longer time. Some of these people are: Paul Klee, Marcel Breuer, Oskar Schlemmer and Josef Albers. Bauhaus was known for the elegant and creative pieces of furniture and utensils that were designed. Students learned to develop their own creativity and used all the materials that you can think of. To mark the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus, Germany has issued a Silver 20 Euro coin made of Sterling Silver (Ag 925). On the face of the coin a staircase leads upwards. Furthermore, the text '100 Jahre' and a number of iconic designs are shown. The text 'Bauhaus' is also shown on the face of the coin. On the reverse of the coin the stylized German eagle appears with 6 stars to its left and right, which together represent the 12 stars of Europe. Furthermore, the German text 'Bundesrepublik Deutschland' and the value indication of 20 Euro are shown. The year 2019 and the number 925 representing the silver content are displayed. The coin is packed in a printed coin holder.
