Ireland BU 2020

This BU set from Ireland 2020 has the theme 'Irish endangered wild flowers'. Every plant and animal fulfils its role on this planet, creating and sustaining our fragile ecosystem. Unfortunately we see that the ecosystem is deteriorating rapidly and that many animals are dying out, and plants are disappearing from our beautiful earth. The BU set of Ireland 2020 focuses on three small, but critically endangered plant species, namely 'The Pyramidal Bugle' (Zen Green), the 'Marsh Saxifrage' and the 'Meadow Saffron'. Each flower has its own role and character in the ecosystem, no matter how small these flowers are. In the 2020 Irish BU set the complete series of 2020 Irish Euro coins is packaged, i.e. the 2020 Irish 1 cent up to and including the normal 2 Euro. Ireland has also struck loose coins from the year 2002 onwards. These were available in UNC sets and Coin Fair sets. From the year 2018 it has been decided not to issue separate series anymore. The edition of this BU set is only 8000 copies, which means that worldwide there are only 8,000 collectors who can get his, or her, series complete!
