Ireland BU 2022. The subject of Ireland's 2022 BU set is '100 years since the founding of the Irish State'. The Irish Republic, as we know it today, declared its independence on 21st January, 1919. This declaration of independence took place during the Irish War of Independence. Ireland was officially recognized in 1922. The 2022 BU set of Ireland comprises the complete series of 2022 Euro coins from Ireland i.e. the Irish 1 cent coin up to and including the normal Irish 2 Euro coin. The mintage of this BU set is only 8,000 copies which means that worldwide only 8,000 collectors are able to complete their series!
