Product Description
In December 2017 the last 5 Euro coin of Latvia in 2017 was issued. The theme is LPNC û Latvian Provisional National Council. In November 1917 a strong and explicit signal was given in the city of Walka about Latvia's wish to form a sovereign state. The declaration to all countries abroad is considered a major step towards the final declaration of the Republic of Latvia in 1918. In memory of this statement, this so-called LPNC coin was issued. On the face of the coin a Wi-Fi Symbol is depicted above which, in two arcs is an inscription which translates as æLong Live Free and Unified LatviaÆ. Furthermore, the word Walka along with the year 1917 is shown. To the left is the value indication of 5 Euro and on the right is the year 2017. On the reverse of the coin is an excerpt of the first session of the Latvian Provisional National Council. This, in the historical spelling, is written in a spiral. At the top of the coin is the text æLatveeschu Pagaidu NazionalasÆ (Latvian Provisional National Council). On the lower part of the coin is the text æpadomes sesijai û 100Æ (First Council session 100). The coin is presented in a luxury package and is supplied with a certificate.
