2021 Lithuania 2 Euro 'Dzukija'. Dzukija is one of the five ethnographic regions of Lithuania. The region of Dzukija lies in the southeast of the country, the city of Alytus is considered to be its capital. A distinct dialect is spoken in this region which, unfortunately, is less and less spoken. The striking, traditional clothing style is still seen everywhere. The national park of Dzukija is a huge 550 square kilometres and consists mainly of forests and swamps. The flora and fauna here is immense and many animals and flowers are only to be found here!
