Luxemburg 3 x 2,5 Euro 2018, 2019, 2020 Unesco

Luxembourg has a total of three entries in the World Heritage Register of UNESCO. Luxembourg has been a member of UNESCO since the year 1947. The three UNESCO registrations are the Photo collection æThe Family of ManÆ, the four districts of the city of Luxembourg, and the Spring procession of Echternach. To honour these UNESCO entries, Luxembourg has issued a very special set of three different tri-metal coins. The first coin is a 2.5 Euro coin of the year 2018 which has the theme of the permanent Photo exhibition in Clerveaux. More than 500 works by some 275 artists from nearly 70 countries are presented here! The second coin is a 2.5 Euro of the year 2019 which has the subject the æCity of LuxembourgÆ of which its four districts appear on the UNESCO world heritage list. The third coin is the 2.5 Euro from 2020 with the theme of the spring festivals of Echternach. This is an age-old tradition that is held annually on the Tuesday after Pentecost. The special thing about these three coins is that they are each made of three different metals! The coins are presented in an extremely luxurious wooden packaging and of course a certificate of authenticity is included. The edition of this unique set is only 2,000 copies.
