Netherlands BU 2019

This is the BU set of the Netherlands 2019. This set has the theme "Maastricht". It is the third set of the series of five BU sets, which have prominent Dutch cities as their theme. Maastricht is certainly not one of the largest cities in the Netherlands, but it is a very important Dutch city. Maastricht has approx. 120,000 inhabitants and is centrally located in Europe. German and French are spoken very close to the city! The city's history dates back thousands of years - from the time of the Romans. An important fact is that in the year 1992 the Maastricht Treaty was signed there, which was the starting signal for the introduction of the Euro. Furthermore, since 2017, the famous Maastricht "Servaasbrug" (Servaas bridge) has been the mint master's mark on Dutch Euro coins. Maastricht also has a well-known university, in short a city with allure! In the 2019 BU set of the Netherlands, the complete set of Dutch Euro coins of the year 2019 is packaged. These coins have, of course, the mint master sign the "Servaasbrug"! The edition of this beautiful set is only 12,500 copies.
