Portugal 2,5 Euro 2015 Climate

Portugal has issued a special 2.5 Euro coin which has the theme of æClimate ChangeÆ. Climate change, the heating of planet Earth is, for most people, undeniable. The sea levels are rising, the North and South poles are slowly melting. Extreme weather conditions are increasing. To bring this problem to the attention of the Portuguese people, Portugal has issued this special 2.5 Euro coin. On the coin the globe is protected by two human hands. At the outer ring of the coin is the text "O Clima é Connosco" (The weather and us). On the reverse of the coin the Coat of Arms of Portugal is depicted below which the value of 2.5 Euro is artistically shown. The 12 stars of Europe, distributed unevenly, are also displayed. In the outer ring is the country name República Portuguesa, while at the bottom of the coin is the year 2015. The quality of this coin is UNC and the issue of this coin is 100,000 copies.
