Slovakia 5 Euro 2021 'Honeybee'

Slovakia is producing a series of 5 Euro coins with the theme 'Flora and Fauna in Slovakia'. The first coin in this series is the 'Honeybee'. Every plant and animal fulfils its role on this planet - creating and maintaining our fragile ecosystem. Unfortunately, the ecosystem is rapidly deteriorating and many animals are becoming extinct and plants are disappearing from our beautiful Earth. Honeybees make a major contribution to our ecosystem, something that is hardly thought about. Almost 80% of crop pollination is done by bees and bumblebees! During this pollination pollen grains from the anthers are transferred to the stigma of the pistil, allowing plants to develop fruits and seeds. On the face of the coin are three Honeybees on a honeycomb. The country name Slovensko (Slovakia), the coat of arms of Slovakia and the year of issue, 2021, are also shown. On the reverse of the coin a Honeybee is depicted resting on a flower. Furthermore, the value indication of 5 Euro is shown. The coin is packed in a coin capsule.
