Slovenia 2 Euro 2016 25 years of Independence Coloured

Slovenia is a small European country surrounded by Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Italy. Previously it was a part of Yugoslavia. On 25 June 1991 independence was declared. In 2004 Slovenia joined the EU and in 2007 Slovenia adopted the Euro as its currency. Because it was 25 years ago that Slovenia became an independent country, a special 2 euro coin has been released. On the coin is the text æ25 Let Republika SlovenijaÆ (25 years Republic of Slovenia). In addition, one a part of one line of the Slovenian anthem ôdocákat' danö which means ôlive to see the dayö. At the bottom of the coin is the year 2016. The coin is beautifully coloured in the characteristic colours of Slovenia which are Bright Red, Dark Blue and White. In the outer ring of the coin are the 12 stars of Europe.
