Product Description
2021 Monaco 2 Euro coin 'Marriage Albert and Charlène'. On 1st July, 2021 Prince Albert and Princess Charlène celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary. This 'tin' wedding was unfortunately not celebrated together because Princess Charlène contracted an infection during her trip in South Africa and was not allowed to travel. In addition to twins Gabriella and Jacques, Prince Albert also has two illegitimate children (Jazmin Grace and Alexandre). The marriage does not always go well and there are rumours that Prince Albert has two more illegitimate children. This is the second time that Monaco has issued a 2 Euro coin with the theme 'Marriage Albert and Charlène'. The first coin was issued in 2011, the year of their marriage. On the face of the coin is an image of Prince Albert and Princess Charlène. Furthermore, the text 'MARIAGE PRINCIE' and the years 2011 and 2021 are displayed. The coin is presented in a beautiful packaging and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The mintage is only 15,000 copies and the coins are very hard to come by. This means that there is a limit of one coin per person.
