Slovenia 2 Euro 2019 University of Ljubljana Proof

The University of Ljubljana (Univerza V Ljubljani) is the highest rated University of Slovenia and is also the oldest University in Slovenia. The University of Ljubljana has no fewer than 22 faculties and several art academies. It is a large university with around 65,000 students. 15% of the inhabitants of Ljubljana are students, so Ljubljana can truly be called a student city. The University of Ljubljana was founded 100 years ago, in 1919, and to commemorate this, Slovenia has decided to issue a 2 Euro coin. A square appears on the front of the coin, which is the logo of the university. The texts '100 LET' (100 years) and 'UNIVERZE V LJUBLJANI' (University of Ljubljana) are also shown. At the bottom right is the country name SLOVENIJA (Slovenia) and the year of issue, 2019. The quality of this coin is Proof, the highest possible quality of a coin. The coin is struck with a special stamp and then packed in the plastic coin capsule with gloved hands.
