Slovenia 2 Euro 2020 Adam Bohoric Proof

Slovenia has issued a 2 Euro in 2020 with the theme Adam Bohoric'. Adam Bohoric was a Protestant teacher who developed Slovenian grammar. He was born in Brestanica in 1520 and studied Literature and Music in the German city of Wittenberg. His passion, singing, he did weekly in church. Between 1551 and 1563 he ran a private school, where he passed on his knowledge to the wealthy inhabitants of Slovenia. During his lifetime, he helped Jurij Dalmatin with the latest revisions of his Bible, the Dalmatin Bible. Adam Bohoric wrote the Slovenian alphabet, which was used in Slovenia until the 19th Century!
