The Netherlands Proof set 2019

This is the 2019 Proof set of the Netherlands. It is the third set of the five-part series whose theme is the leading cities in the Netherlands. The theme of the 2019 proof set is Maastricht. Maastricht is the capital of the province of Limburg and has more than 120,000 inhabitants. Because it has been inhabited for more than 2000 years Maastricht is one of the cities that may call themselves 'the oldest city in the Netherlands'. This Dutch proof set contains a total of nine coins - the complete series of eight Dutch Euro coins from the year 2019, plus the ninth coin which is a normal 2 Euro coin but which has the 12 stars of Europe coloured Orange. The quality of the coins is Proof which means that the coins are struck with a special stamp and are therefore of the highest quality. The coins are packaged with great care, piece by piece, in the luxury wooden packaging. A numbered certificate is supplied with the 2019 proof set where the set is further described.
