Product Description
In the year 2020, the Vatican has issued a series of four Coincards with postage stamps included. The first coincard with a postage stamp was issued by the Vatican in 2011 û this was of course Number 1. The coincards of the year 2020 have the numbers 32, 33, 34 & 35. Each Coincard contains the 2020 Vatican 50 Cent coin. This coin shows the Papal coat of arms and is, of course, legal tender. In Coincard No. 32 is a stamp of the Vatican with a value of €1.10. Packed in Coincard No. 33 is a €1.15 stamp. In coincard No. 34 is a stamp with a value of €2.40 whilst in coincard No. 35 is a stamp with a value of no less than €3. Each stamp features an image of Pope Francis with an animal. According to the Bible these animals survived because Noah took them into the Ark during the Flood. It is remarkable that Pope Francis no longer wants his image to be displayed on the Vatican Euro coins, but that his image is shown on the Vatican postage stamps. Each Coincard has a different colour - No. 32 is orange, No. 33 is blue, No. 34 is green and No. 35 is brown.
